While there is no guarantee of what these schedule changes may have on viewership, The Blacklist's new air date isn't dissimilar to earlier airing dates, so it may not be too much of an adjustment.One of the images for the episode is certainly interesting. It has now been revealed that the show will receive some scheduling changes when it returns in 2022. As well as Bokenkamp leaving the show after eight seasons, Megan Boone, who plays the main character, Elizabeth 'Liz' Keen, also departed, with season 8, episode 22 "Konets" seeing Liz die in Red's arms after being shot in the back by a henchman of crime lord Neville Townsend (Reg Rogers). Navy Officer-turned-criminal-turned FBI aid, Raymond 'Red' Redington, season 9 has seen many major changes from prior seasons to the status quo of the series.
